Undergraduate Campus Involvement

Theta Delta Chi is extremely involved at UW-Madison. Every year we actively participate in University-sponsored events, such as Homecoming, Trick-or-Treat with the Greeks, Greek Week, all-Greek philanthropies, and a number of different intramural sports. We also sponsor our own philanthropy, Chowdown Against Cancer, a brat-eating contest held on Library Mall in late April. All proceeds go to the V Foundation for Cancer Research. Each member of Theta Delta Chi is also required to give eight hours of community service per semester. In addition to school activities, we have many social functions, including formals, social gatherings at the house, and events with sororities.

We have a firm belief that in addition to education, the everlasting friendships and bonds you are able to form are an important part of college. We have strong alumni relations and, like previous generations, many brothers are continuing their friendships after college. Theta Delta Chi is a great place to make friends, build character, and have a good time. Many members increase their G.P.A. after moving into the house with the help they are able to receive from older brothers who are willing to show them better study habits, and pass along insights about various professors.

At the National Convention in August, the Charge won a silver bowl for Most Improved Charge. A recent graduate won a scholarship he will use for law school. The house president was recognized for the best letter from an active used by The Shield.
